Chartered in December 1984, the Chapter serves the lower counties of Illinois. Meetings are conducted as a part of our social activities and are held monthly from April through December in various locations. The Chapter publishes a monthly "email" newsletter, The Patriot. Our Patriot Express is used to email urgent information on short notice. The Chapter currently has 36 members.
Mission The mission of the Southern Illinois Little Egypt Chapter (SILEC) is to benefit the members of the uniformed services, their families and survivors, and to advocate for a strong national defense while providing needed support to the community and its members.
